Intern - Lidar 3D Object Detection and Tracking (ICL U100A)
This internship is in ITRI's Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICL), based on our main campus in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.
This internship is intended for foreign students studying at universities in Taiwan; students currently studying outside of Taiwan are unlikely to be considered for this internship. The internship can begin as soon as March 1, working up to 20 hours/week during the semester, and potentially working full-time during summer vacation.
Internship Content
Participate in the development of Lidar 3D object detection and tracking technology. The job responsibilities include:
--Data collection and model training for object detection and tracking.
--Field application and testing.
Desired Qualifications
1. Upperclass undergraduate or above student, majoring in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Surveying, or related fields.
2. Familiarity with ROS, deep learning technologies, and programming languages such as C/C++/Python.
3. Experience in deep learning and computer vision development.
4. Prior exposure to radar/Lidar sensors is preferred.
