SSTC Intern_Robotics and Hardware Integration Intern (S100)
This internship is in ITRI's Service Systems Technology Center(SSTC).
Job Description:
Robotics Expert: Proficient in industrial robotic arms (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc).
Capable of developing control algorithms and calibration systems for robotic arms.
Skilled in integrating photography equipment with mechanical systems.
Familiar with communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, EtherCAT) and control software (e.g., ROS, PLC).
Desired Qualifications
Robotic Arm Operation and Programming:
Proficient in brand-specific controllers (e.g., KUKA KRC, ABB IRC5, Fanuc Roboguide).
Skilled in programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KRL, Fanuc TP, Python).
Calibration and Precision Optimization:
Knowledgeable in spatial calibration methods (e.g., D-H parameter modeling, error compensation).
Familiar with synchronizing sensors (e.g., laser, cameras) with robotic arms.
Software Tools:
Proficient in using ROS (Robot Operating System) or MATLAB Robotics Toolbox.
Experienced in handling CAD models and performing robotic arm motion simulation (e.g., RoboDK, Gazebo).
