This Scholarship + Internship opportunity is exclusively for international PhD students at NTUST (Taiwan Tech). If you are not a PhD student at Taiwan Tech, please do not apply for this program, your application will be ignored.

Host department for this program is ITRI's Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICL).

ICL / ITRI provides a scholarship in the form of a monthly stipend during regular semesters and an obligatory paid summer internship in the first year.

ICL research focus areas for this program: B5G/6G, LEO Satellite communications, ICT enabled Technologies, Low power consumption ICT Technologies, Unmanned Stores, Intelligent recommendation systems, Medical Image Recognition, Private Cloud Computing Safety and Security, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones), Generative AI.

To make sure your application is complete:

1) Fill out the Questionnaire at right, letting us know which ICL research areas you are interested in from the drop-down menu (it is OK to select more than one, but please only select areas relevant to your background), and what year your are at in your PhD program.

2) Attach your CV/resume, a recent transcript from NTUST, and at least one recommendation letter (preferably from an NTUST professor), using the Questionnaire fields.
