Intern - Autonomous Mobile Robot (ICL U100C)
This internship is in ITRI's Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICL), based on our main campus in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.
This internship is intended for foreign students studying at universities in Taiwan; students currently studying outside of Taiwan are unlikely to be considered for this internship. The internship can begin as soon as March 1, working up to 20 hours/week during the semester, and potentially working full-time during summer vacation.
Internship Content
Participate in the development of Autonomous Mobile Robot's mapping, localization, navigation and validation, including:
1. Design and write the standard criterion of validating the ROS2 functions.
2. Map construction for the testing fields and AMR operation analysis.
Desired Qualifications
1. Upperclass undergraduate or above student, majoring in Information, EE, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical or related engineering field.
2. Familiar with programming languages such as ROS, C / C++ / Python.
3. Have Autonomous Mobile Robot, Mapping, Localization (SLAM) and navigation related development experience.
