Long-Term Internship Program: Autonomous mobile robot development and verification Intern(U1)
This internship is in ITRI's Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICL).
This is an exciting long-term internship opportunity. We’re looking for candidates who can commit to around 6 months. You’ll join a dynamic team, gain hands-on experience, and work on impactful projects that will help you develop valuable skills for your future career.
Job Description:
Participate in the development and functional verification of the underlying system of autonomous mobile robots. Work includes:
1. Participate in program reconstruction
2. Support burn-in testing and result analysis
3. Calibration of robot operation in the field
4. Participate in development:
i) Path decision optimization
ii) Multi-vehicle calibration development
iii) Vehicle control firmware development
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
2. Have the following professional knowledge (one or more):
- Familiar with Linux environment operations
- Familiar with ROS2 environment development
- Familiar with C/C++ programming language
- Familiar with Docker
- Familiar with git operations
3. The required documents are a transcript and a recommendation letter.
