This internship is in ITRI's Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICL), based on our main campus in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.

This internship is intended for foreign students studying at universities in Taiwan; students currently studying outside of Taiwan are unlikely to be considered for this internship. The internship can begin as soon as March 1, working up to 20 hours/week during the semester, and potentially working full-time during summer vacation.

Internship Content

Developing a human motion diffusion model and system which can generate long-term motion data from text input and apply motion data to virtual avatars.

Desired Qualifications

1. Upperclass undergraduate or above student, majoring in Computer Science or related field.
2. Skilled in Python programming
3. Familiar with Linux environment operations
4. Skilled in AI model training and deployment, such as Pytorch/Yolo.
5. Ability to use / integrate APIs of LLM such as ChatGPT
